What is MyoCalc Pro?
If you are treating myopia progression in your practice now, it maybe challenging to explain to patients and parents how effective treatments are in slowing myopia progression.
MyoCalc will help to explain more easily and also reduce consultation time.
- MyAppia: Start with the Myappia curve to show parents and patients the expected myopia progression up to age 17. These values are based on study data and the individual risk factor. Actual measured values are displayed and can be compared with the selected treatment options. You can choose which therapy options to display.
- Eye Growth Curve: This graph shows axial length in relation to age. You can immediately see the patient’s risk level based on their axial length related to the age. Actual measured values are displayed and can be compared with a virtual untreated progression from the first measurement.
- Annual eye Growth curve: This curve evaluates the treatment success. It compares annual eye length growth since the last measurement with physiological growth and with potential untreated myopic growth. Two treatment effectivity calculations are shown: one compared to untreated myopia, and one compared to physiological, age matched emmetropic growth.
